The course is bespoke in that any handling aids used by the care setting can be taught from;

  • wheelchairs

  • Banana boards (Transiting boards)
  • Moving and handling belts
  • Air lifts
  • etc
This is a half day course (dependent upon the amount of equipment to be taught) and is limited to 12 students.  This is to allow each student sufficient time to demonstrate to the instructor how to use the equipment properly.
