Fire Awareness

Fire poses a significant threat to your business in many ways. After the immediate danger to people and property you also have to consider the longer term risks caused by interference to your business operations.

As will as discharging your legal responsibilities as an employer, this course will ensure that your staff are well prepared to prevent fires breaking out and will also know how to act should the worst happen.

After completing the Fire Awareness Course your staff will:
  • understand how fires start and spread
  • understand the different types of fires that can happen in their work place
  • be sure what their duties are should a fire break out
  • know about the different types of fire extinguishers, plus what types of fire they can and cannot be used on
  • how to prevent fires happening
  • your company fire procedures
This is a 90 minute classroom-based course. We can also include practical fire extinguisher demonstrations and workshops for a more complete course.
